Most US stock indices fell on Wednesday ahead of corporate earnings results and the Federal Reserve’s decisions.

Investors await a batch of major quarterly earnings results from Meta, Microsoft, Tesla, and Apple later this week.

And later today, the Federal Reserve will announce its decision on monetary policies, and is widely expected to hold rates unchanged.

On trading, Dow Jones was mostly flat at 44,850 points as of 16:18 GMT, while S&P 500 dipped 0.4% to 6044 points, as NASDAQ declined 0.7%, or 147 points to 19,586 points.
