Wall Street declines as markets follow corporate results

US stock indices declined on Monday while following latest corporate earnings results, and ahead of the Federal Reserve's meeting this week.

 

Major tech companies will release results this week, including Apple and Microsoft. 

 

Federal Reserve members are meeting tomorrow to discuss policies, expected to hike rates by 75 basis points. 

 

Dow Jones declined 0.1% as of 14:42 GMT to 31,897, while S&P 500 shed 0.1% to 3,954, as NASDAQ gave up 0.6% to 11,762.
