The major US stock indices rose on Wednesday, following the US Vice President Mike Pence comments yesterday.

The Vice President said that all 50 US states had partially started opening their economies after the coronavirus epidemic.

Yesterday Wall Street suffered losses after Star News reported that scientists stressed doubts about the lack of data to assess the tests of the "Moderna" vaccine, which are still only preliminary results.

The US Federal Reserve will release later today the minutes of its April's meeting, in which the Fed held the US rate near zero.

As for stocks, Dow Jones rose 1.5% or 370 points to 24,580 as of 14:07 GMT, Nasdaq rose 1.8% or 166 points to 9,351, and S&P 500 rose 1.6% or 47 points to 2,960.
