US stock indices rose on Wednesday, following positive news about coronavirus vaccines, despite the disappointing data.

ADP data showed today that the US private sector has added 167K new jobs last month, lower than forecasts of 1.2 million new jobs.

The US government has pumped millions of dollars in the ongoing trails for the promising coronavirus vaccine, amid expectations that it will be available later this year.

This came as the US is suffering from the high number of coronavirus infections, which has rose to more than 4.8 million cases.

As for stocks, Dow Jones rose 1% or 270 points to 27100 as of 14:28 GMT, Nasdaq rose 0.3% or 36 points to 10,977, and S&P 500 rose 0.6% or 20 points to 3,326.
