The main US stocks indices turned lower on Tuesday, after opening slightly higher, as global markets focused on the coronavirus impact.

Whilst the World Health Organization has announced a proven drug in treating the coronavirus, but the virus death toll is still rapidly increasing in China and other countries.

Italy, South Korea and Iran have announced further cases and deaths of the coronavirus.

Most analysts fear the impact of this virus outbreak could slowdown the global economic growth and corporate performance during the first quarter of this year.

As for stocks, Dow Jones lost 1.2% or 325 points to trade 27,636 as of 16:29 GMT, Nasdaq fell 1.3% or 118 points to 9,102, and S&P 500 fell 1.4% or 46 points to 3,176.
