The major US stock indices continued to rally on Tuesday, as worries over the transition of power in the US faded.

President Donald Trump gave the green light for the transition of power to the president-elect Joe Biden's team, which is considered as a main step in Trump's official conceding of the election.

The state of Pennsylvania declared Biden the winner in the votes recount, which increased the president-elect's lead over Trump.

As for stocks, Dow Jones rose 1.7% or 509 points to 30,097 as of 17:10 GMT, Nasdaq rose 1% or 112 points to 11,993, and S&P 500 rose 1.5% or 55 points to 3,632.
