ECB President Christine Lagarde asserts multiple rate hikes this year

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said the bank will continue to increase interest rates in the upcoming meetings until inflation is brought back to 2%. 

Lagarde said the ECB needs to give out a strong signal that it will not allows high inflation outlook to prevail in the euro zone. 

Lagarde admitted some planning mistakes while future outlooks remain uncertain.
