Japanese economy released its housing starts in June, where the reading came at 15.3%, compared with a previous reading of 14.5% a year earlier, while analysts’ expectations were 16.0%.
Meanwhile, Annualized housing starts recorded an actual of 0.976 Million unit in June, compared with a previous reading of 1.027 Million unit, while analysts’ expectations were 0.982 million unit.
Construction Orders index in Japan came at 21.9% in June, compared with a previous reading of 26.0% a year earlier.
