US stock indices opened the day little-changed, with healthcare shares covering the losses of AT&T, which a court agreed on its acquisition by Time Warner in an $85 billion deal.

Dow Jones rose 7.92 points, or 0.03% to $25,328.65.

Standard and Poor's 500 added 0.04%, or 1.09 points to 2,787.94.

Wall Street marked modest gains yesterday, propped up by utilities and tech sectors even as cautions permeates the market ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy decisions.
