Trump threatens tariffs on European exports to America

US President Donald Trump said the EU is dealing unfairly with the United States in terms of trade relations.

 

Trump added that if the EU refused to hold trade talks with the United States, his administration would impose tariffs on imports from the Union.

 

The US president has previously threatened to target the European car industry by customs duties and ordered the US Treasury Department to investigate whether imports of cars and spare parts from the old continent countries pose a threat to national security or not.
