After China announced today its plans to impose a 10% tariff increase on US imports worth $75 billion, President Trump responded with violent decisions against China.
Trump said via his Twitter account, that he has decided to increase tariffs on Chinese imports worth $250 billion to 30% from 25% now, starting from October 1st.
Trump also said that another 15% tariffs will be imposed - instead of 10% in previous statements - on Chinese imports worth $300 billion, as of September 1st.
He also blamed past administrations for allowing China to get so far ahead of fair and balanced Trade, while saying "As President, I can no longer allow this to happen".
And based on these decisions, Trump's administration has imposed tariffs on almost all goods imported from China.
While these retaliatory decisions add to Trump's order for US companies to prepare for an alternative to China and to come back home.
