US stocks rose on Tuesday's trading as more quarterly corporate earnings reports are expected to flow into the markets which affect their performance.

Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock, Laurence Fink, said the US stock market was about to achieve more record highs rather than lows.

This comes after the statements of US President Donald Trump, as he stressed that without the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve, the stock market would have jumped by between five thousand and ten thousand additional points.

Government data showed that US industrial production fell 0.1% in March.

During the trading session, Dow Jones rose by 0.1% (about 38 points) to 26,422 points, while  Nasdaq rose 0.4% (31 points) to 8,007 points, Standard & Poor's rose by 0.1% (five points) to 2,910 points.
