Euphoria over Apple`s record weekend was surprisingly overshadowed by reports the “iPhone 6 Plus” is bending easily in pants pockets, and the company is pulling a problematic update to iOS 8.

Only in its fifth day on the market, few tech blogs on Tuesday were already reporting complaints from “iPhone 6 Plus” owners that their new smartphones were bending when placed in the pockets of their pants.

A video was then posted by a video blog conducted an “iPhone 6 Plus” test on camera, which showed the larger “iPhone 6 Plus” bent slightly as pressure was applied to the device with hands.

Also, an hour after Apple released the iOS 8.0.1 update; aimed to fix issues that were in the smartphones operating system at the launch, Apple put a stop to the software update.

Is the tech giant preparing for a plan B? Well, it remains unclear what Apple plans to do for iPhone owners who have already downloaded the update! Apple only acknowledged the issues and said it is looking into the problems.

"We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can," Apple initially said in a statement. "In the meantime, we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update."

Whether this news will affect sales of Apple’s flagship or even prompt a recall is yet to be clear. Apple Inc. fell 0.87% yesterday to close at $101.75.

Any announcements by Apple should be watched closely, so stay tuned!
