Germany's services PMI rose to 51.0 in December, beating estimates of 49.5, and up from 49.3 in November. 

Germany's manufacturing PMI shrank deeper to 42.5 in December, the worst in three months, extending the recession cycle for the 29th month in a row, and below estimates of 43.1. 

France's services PMI improved to 48.2 in December, the best in two months, and beating estimates of 46.9, while up from 46.9 in November. 

France's manufacturing PMI shrank to 41.9 in December, the worst reading in 4-1/5 years, and below estimates of 43.2, while down from 43.1 in November.
