Ripple holds below $1 despite attracting ETF inflows

XRP traded near the key psychological support level of $1 on Friday, signaling the potential for a recovery in the coming period.

US-listed spot XRP exchange-traded funds are supporting the prospects of a rebound after continuing to attract institutional inflows through Thursday, putting them on course for a fifth consecutive week of net inflows.

Accumulation by large investors, combined with an improving risk-reward profile, also points to easing downside pressure and the possibility of a price recovery.

Institutional demand remains strong

Institutional demand has continued to show signs of strength so far this week.

According to SoSoValue data, spot XRP ETFs recorded $2.25 million in net inflows through Thursday.

If the funds attract additional inflows on Friday, XRP will be on track to complete a fifth consecutive week of positive flows.

The sustained inflows indicate that institutional investor interest remains resilient despite the ongoing correction in XRP’s price.

If the trend continues through the end of the week, persistent ETF demand could help limit XRP’s losses and support a recovery in the coming period.

On-chain data points to XRP nearing a bottom

On-chain indicators from CryptoQuant show that XRP whales continue to quietly build their positions.

The data show that XRP’s average spot order size has remained heavily influenced by large holders throughout the year, while the price has traded within a range of roughly $1.00 to $1.20.

A closer look, however, shows that the 90-day taker buy/sell CVD has moved into neutral territory, suggesting accumulation without aggressive buying pressure.

These on-chain indicators point to a noticeable improvement in XRP’s risk-reward profile, although downside risks have not disappeared entirely.

Selling pressure has also eased as large XRP holders continue to increase their positions, potentially indicating that the market is approaching the final stages of its bearish cycle.

From a valuation perspective, XRP’s realized price currently stands at around $0.75, below its market price of approximately $1.01.

This suggests that XRP is approaching, but has not yet reached, the deeply undervalued levels that have historically coincided with previous cycle bottoms.
