Bitcoin (BTCUSD) prices edged slightly higher in their latest intraday trading, supported by the resilience of the pivotal support level at $80,000, providing some positive momentum, helping it withstand the surrounding negative pressure and recover part of its previous losses. It also allowed the price to ease some of its evident oversold conditions on the relative strength indicators, particularly as a positive crossover began to emerge.

However, the short-term corrective bearish trend remains dominant, while continued negative pressure from trading below EMA50, which acts as dynamic resistance, limits the chances of a near-term recovery.
