Housing Starts and Construction orders in Japan

Housing starts in Japan recorded -14.1% in July, from a previous reading of -9.5% a year earlier, while analysts’ estimates were -10.5%.


Annualized Housing Starts reached 0.839 million unit, from a previous reading of 0.883 million, while analysts’ estimates were 0.871 million.


Japan’s Construction orders recorded 24.4% in July, from a previous reading of 9.3% a year earlier.
