Asian stocks opened the week's last trading session on mixed performance, with Japanese and Chinese stocks falling, as well as South Korea's Kospi, while Australian and New Zealand stocks and Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose on Friday amid uncertainty over the development of the Britain's Brexit and a new round of trade talks between Washington and Beijing are part of efforts by the world's top economists to avoid worsening the trade war.
Japanese stock indices fell in today's trading, with TOPIX index falling in Japan by 0.13% to lose 2.12 points down to 1,612.27, in addition to Japan's Nikkei 225 falling 0.22% to close at 47.39 points, reaching 21,561.53.
China's indices also fell, with the CSI 300 falling 0.45% to lose 17.14 points to reach 3,819.75. While the Shanghai Composite fell 0.39% losing 12.08 points to 3,089.37.
While Hong Kong's "Hang Seng" Index rose 0.24% to gain 70.78 points reaching 29,142.34, On the other hand, South Korea's Kospi fell 0.15% losing 3.20 points reaching 2,181.68.
To the New Zealand NZX 50 raise of 0.70% "66.00 points" to 9,527.31. While Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index also rose 0.59%, gaining 36.13 points to reach 6,203.30.
