Dollar rose in Asian trade off October 30 lows against the yen for the fourth session out of five, following earlier industrial data from Japan and amid a lack of any from the US today.
As of 06:58 GMT, USD/JPY rose 0.24% to 113.23, with a session-low at 112.88, and the highest since November 16 at 113.29.
Earlier Japanese data showed the manufacturing PMI down to 51.8 in November from 52.9, revised from 53.1 in October, missing estimates of 53.0.
