At 10:00 GMT, the European economy released the flash GDP reading for the third quarter, which grew by 12.7%, the best growth rate since data was first collected in 1995, beating forecasts of 9.5%, and higher than the second-quarter reading of a contraction by 11.8%.
The annual reading posted a contraction of 4.3%, beating forecasts of 7.0%, and also higher than the previous second-quarter reading of a contraction by 14.8%.
