Ripple climbs for second straight session, Bitcoin near five-week highs

Ripple rose alongside most cryptocurrencies for another session as investors shun stocks amid caution on US-China trade talks. 

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were boosted by increased blockchain usage in many sectors, such as banks, corporations, universities, and others.

President Trump said he'd be happy to cancel tariffs if a deal is reached with China, adding his administration is nearer that goal than ever. 

However markets still don't see noticeable results despite the positive remarks, spreading doubts. 

As of 21:38 GMT, Ripple rose 3.5% to $0.33, with a session-high at $0.35, and a low at $0.32. 

Bitcoin climbed 1.8% to $3,959, with a session-high at $4015, with market value amounting to $69.5 billion.
