US stocks fell today as the markets cautiously await for any signals from the US Federal Reserve to determine its future monetary policy decisions.
The Federal Reserve meeting minutes will be released tomorrow, as the meeting was held in July and resulted in a rate decision for the first time since 2008.
Markets wants to determine the if the Fed's decision was as a response for the current conditions and whether or not its planning for a similar move.
However, President Trump called on the US Fed to cut rates at least by 1% and the possibility of preparing a quantitative easing program similar to the 2008 global financial crisis program.
By 14:40 GMT, Dow Jones fell by 0.3% or 87 points to 26,048, Nasdaq fell by 0.3% or 26 points to 7976, and S&P 500 fell by 0.4% or 13 points to 2910 points.
