The Energy Information Administration released its report on US natural gas inventories, showing a buildup of 91 billion cubic feet in the week ending June 15, adding to the 96B increase in the previous reading, while analysts expected an 85B buildup.
Total stocks rose to 2.004 trillion cubic feet from 1.913 trillion in the week ending June 8, which is below the total of the same period in 2017 at 2.761 trillion, while also below the five-year average at 2.503 trillion.
