Foreigners inject SAR9.5 billion in Saudi equities over 11 weeks

Foreign investors were net buyers in the Saudi Stock Exchange over the last eleven weeks, with SAR 9.6 billion, through seizing investment opportunities in the market ahead of upgrade to emerging market status.

 

Foreigners recorded buy and sell trades worth SAR 19.1 billion and SAR 9.5 billion, respectively.

 

Meanwhile, Tadawul All Share Index rose by 10.5% year-to-date, gaining 814 points, to close at 8563 points on Sunday, compared with 7749 points at the close of December 27, 2018.

 

Market capitalization rose during such a period by SAR 193.5 billion, to SAR 2.04 trillion, from SAR 1.84 trillion.
