UAE’s energy company Dana Gas invited shareholders to convene a general assembly meeting on April 10, to discuss the distribution of cash dividends for the fiscal year 2018 at SAR 384 million, or 5.5 fils per share.

Shareholders will also look into the stock buyback of not more than 10% of capital, pending the approval of regulatory entities.

The meeting will also consider the proposed capital increase from AED 6.976 billion, to AED 6.995 billion, an increase of AED 18.749 million, which shall be effected through employee incentive option.

The company announced earlier this month that it has bought back a total of $133 million worth of Sukuk, under the Sukuk repurchase program of Nile Delta Sukuk Ltd. Thus, the buyback has slashed the size of the Sukuk from $530 million to $397 million.
