European stocks recover from 6-week low

European stocks rose in early trading on Friday, the last session of the week, recovering from a six-week low recorded in the previous session as investors clung to hopes of resolving the growing disputes between the United States and China as trade talks were concluded later in the day in Washington.

As of 08:50 GMT, Stoxx Europe 600 rose 0.9%, after closing yesterday's session down by 1.7%, and hitting a six-week low with risk averse investors.

The Stoxx Europe Index rose in early trading on Friday, recovering from a six-week low, with most major stock exchanges and sectors in the Green Zone.

The talks between senior US and Chinese negotiators will be completed later in the day in Washington. In efforts to resolve the growing disputes between the world's two largest economies, which prompted the US government to increase tariffs from 10% to 25% on Chinese goods worth $200 billion, which has already entered into implementation.

As investors clung to hopes that the talks would lead to an agreement that would end the long period of the US-China trade dispute, most sectors related to the global trade movement made strong gains during the morning session at the end of the week.

S & P 500 futures fell by more than 0.2%, and the index ended yesterday's session on Wall Street down by 0.3%, in its fourth consecutive daily loss.

Euro Stoxx 50 index rose more than 0.9%. With the French CAC 40 rising 0.9%. As Germany's DAX rose by more than 1.1% and leading the list of winning markets in Europe. And in London the FTSE 100 rose more than 0.6%.
