Most US stock indices rose on Monday following strong gains last week after a spate of US inflation data.

Fed member Christopher Walrer said yesterday that the Fed will keep on its fight against inflation until it's completely brought down to just 2%.

It comes after US inflation data showed a steep slowdown in consumer prices last month.

US 10-year treasury yields edged up to 3.86%, while two-year yields rose to 4.40%.

Dow Jones rose 0.2%, or 80 points as of 15:20 GMT to 33,841, while S&P 500 climbed 0.1%, or two points to 3,995, as NASDAQ fell 0.5%, or 64 points to 11,259.
