US stocks fell on today's trading as concerns over the escalating US-China trade war continued.

The United States announced yesterday a ban on US companies from using Huawei's technology and equipment, to their risks on national security, and Beijing threatened to respond.

The trade war between the United States and China escalated as each country decided to raise tariffs on imports, as the United States prepared an additional list of other goods.

However, US President Donald Trump believes that his country has the upper hand in trade negotiations with China, as the outcome of the trade talks may eliminate tariffs.

In terms of trading, Dow Jones fell by 0.2% (equivalent to 43 points) to 25,819 points, as Nasdaq fell 0.3% (27 points) to 7,870 points, while Standard & Poor's fell by 0.2% (6 points) to 2,870 points.
