US stocks end stable amid pressures on financial sectors

US stocks stabilized amid pressure on the financial, technology and energy sectors as uncertainty over trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing.

 

However, President Trump announced today that reassured that the talks with China were going very well.

 

President Trump comments today , reassured markets about trade negotiations with China, but did not confirm that a comprehensive agreement between the two countries was anywhere near complete.

 

This came after "Bloomberg" quoted sources saying that the summit, that was going to be held at the end of March, was postponed to be held in April.

 

Boeing shares fell 1% to $ 373.3 as the suspension of the "Max 737" aircraft continued amid the crash of an Ethiopian flight of the same model.

 

On the other hand, "West Texas" rose 0.6% to close at $58.61 a barrel, the highest price at $58.7 and the lowest at $58 .

 

In contrast, Brent crude fell 0.5% to $67.23 a barrel, with a high of $68.1 and a low of $67.03.

 

At the end of Thursday's session, Dow Jones rose 0.1% to 7,210 points, hitting a high of 25,753 and a low of 25,621.

 

Nasdaq fell 0.1% (12 points) to 6731 points, with a high of 7653 points and a low of 7,727 points.

 

While, Standard & Poor's closed at a low of 0.1% (2 points) to 2808 points, reaching a high of 2,815 points and a low of 2803 points.
