Dow Jones jumps above 26,000 again on trade optimism

US stocks rose during today's trading on markets' hopes after the United States announced a trade deal with Mexico, which reduced the trade war concerns.

US President Donald Trump announced the suspension of the 5% tariffs on his country's imports of Mexican goods, which would have come into force today.

On the other side the US trade tensions with China are continuing as Trump pointed out that Beijing would seek a trade deal with Washington or its economy would be damaged.

Trump added that the tariffs imposed by his administration against China are pushing companies out of the chinese market to other countries, including the United States.

In terms of trade, Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.7% (equivalent to 170 points) and reached 26,152 points, while Nasdaq rose 1.6% (124 points) to 7,866 points. Standard & Poor's rose by 0.8% (23 points) to 2897 points.
