US stock saw mixed performance today, despite opening higher, as Wall Street was weighed down by the growing fears about the coronavirus outbreak, after it spread in multiple countries, the last of which is the UAE.

The US Federal Reserve reveal its rate decision later, with strong bets for the Fed to keep the interest rate unchanged, which then will be followed by press conference of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

Many US companies continued to report their earnings results for Q4 2019, as Apple revealed yesterday record profits and revenues, while Boeing reported today its first annual loss since 1997.

At 15:30 GMT, Dow Jones was higher by 0.3% or 85 points to 28,808 points, Nasdaq rose by 4  points to 9,274, and S&P 500 edged up by less than 0.1% or half a point to 3,276.
