US President Donald Trump attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which kicked off today and will continue throughout this week.
A number of notable personales in various global fields will attend the forum, including environment activists, economists, central bankers, and politicians.
President Trump hailed the US economy in Davos, saying that it is in the midst of an economic boom, making the United States unprecedented and unmatched anywhere in the world.
Trump praised the recent interim trade agreement with China, and the upcoming trade deal with Canada and Mexico.
As for climate change, Trump stated that the US will join the trillion tree initiative with other countries, an initiative that a climate scientist talked about last year to plant 1.2 trillion trees to offset CO2 emissions.
Trump earlier tweeted before attending the forum that he was on his way to meet with other countries leaders to return billions of dollars to the US economy.
Otherwise, Trump threatened the EU countries of a potential 25% tariffs on their cars exports to the US if they didn't agree on a fair trade deal.
