The British pound rose against the US dollar today, after the British parliament voted in favor taking control of managing the Brexit file, instead of Prime Minister Theresa May's government efforts.
As uncertainty mounts in British circles, a third vote on May's agreement of Brexit is expected to be held on Friday, an agreement that was twice rejected by the parliament this year.
The British Parliament announced that it took over the management of the Brexit file, which undermines May's authority in dealing with this thorny issue, thus, speculations about her resignation are increasing.
On the other hand, global markets concerns about the slowdown in USA and the eurozone's manufacturing sectors were eased after the release of negative data.
Meanwhile during today's trading, by 18:00 GMT, the British pound rose against the US dollar by 0.2% to 1.322, with a high of 1.3263 and a low of 1.316.
