The British pound fell against most major currencies on Tuesday after British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the parliament has a last chance to pass an agreement for the UK's exit from European Union.
May urged the parliament and the opposition parties to support the agreement, which she described as new and different from what was rejected three times earlier this year.
The British parliament will vote on whether to have a new referendum for May's agreement, which includes workers' rights, environment protection, borders with Northern Ireland and to stay within the EU's customs union (EUCU).
Benjamin Broadbent, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, said yesterday that British companies are exaggerating the implications of the Brexit, which is hurting the economy.
In terms of trading, by 18:37 GMT, Pound fell against US dollar by 0.1% to 1.2707, with the highest price today at 1.2806 and the lowest at 1.2685.
