Canadian retail sales fall unexpectedly - July

At 12:30 GMT, the Canadian economy released its monthly reading for the retail sales index, which fell by 0.2% in July, lower than forecasts of rising by 0.2%, and lower than the previous reading of a rise by 0.9%.

This statement is considered negative for Canadian dollar.
