As of 02:26 GMT, AUD/USD fell 0.16% to 0.7070, with an intraday high at 0.7084, and the lowest since October 11 at 0.7064.
RBA Assistant Governor Guy Debelle will speak today about the above mentioned event, while RBA Assistant Governor Michele Bullock will participate in a panel discussion titled "National digital currencies: Will they cash in?" at the 2018 Sibos conference, in Sydney.
