The CB survey for U.S. consumer confidence jumped to 98.0 in June, handily beating expectations of 93.2, and compared from May's 92.6.
The Richmond Manufacturing Index on the other hand registered a minus seven in June, down from May's minus one, and compared to analysts' expectations of plus two.
