The New Zealand dollar fell against its U.S. counterpart on Thursday, as demand for the greenback was boosted by the Federal Reserve`s latest meeting minutes.
The greenback found further support against major currencies after the minutes of the Fed`s meeting indicated that the economic recovery is strong enough to withstand external threats to growth.
NZD/USD pair dropped to its lowest during late Asian trade at 0.7807, and traded around 0.7847 at 10:14 GMT.
