Higher consumer prices in Canada below expectations - September

Released by the Canadian economy at 12:30 GMT the monthly consumer price index up 0.1% in September, less than that indicated rise of 0.2%, better than the previous reading of a decline of 0.2%, and excluding energy and food the index recorded an increase of 0.2% , according to the economic outlook, better than the previous reading of a rise of 0.0%.

 

This statement is negative for the Canadian dollar.
