Apple Inc announced its smartwatch on Monday coming in various models, including a one with sapphire faces costing up to $17,000.
The Apple watch price will begin from $349 for the smaller 38-mm model while the standard version will start at $549.
Rose gold models will start from $10,000, while may reach up to $17,000, as it includes a case made from a customized version of 18-karat rose gold.
“A $349 Sport model the same size has an aluminum case, a 'sport band' and a magnetic charging cable, and no case,” Reuters said in its report.
The watch will be available for order on April 10 and in stores on April 24, said Chief Executive Tim Cook.
"I have been wanting to do this since I was five years old," said Cook.
Apple shares edged up 0.54 points or 0.43 percent to close at $127.14.
