Aussie climbs to $0.76 ahead of Fed's policy decisions

Australian dollar rebounded from 1-1/5 week lows versus US dollar, brushing with 0.7600 at the open of the American session.

Traders are buying up the AUD/USD pair on short-covering after sustaining recent losses, buoying the pair to around 0.7553 throughout the day.

US producer prices rose past forecasts in May at 3.1% y/y, and up 0.5% on a monthly basis, beating forecasts of 0.3%.

All eyes are fixed on the Federal Reserve's policy meeting, after markets already priced in another rate hike this year to below 2%.

It's to be seen whether Aussie will carry the current momentum or will buckle versus the dollar amid US policy tightening.
