Litecoin climbs for fourth straight session to one-week high

Litecoin rose to one-week highs after climbing for four consecutive sessions, as cryptocurrencies recover en masse after recent heavy losses. 

Cryptocurrencies facing a period of volatility, leading to sharp swings up and down. 

Group of 20 meetings in Argentina are the driving factor behind the latest volatility, with markets awaiting the final statement - and decisions that global economies will take in regard to cryptocurrencies. 

So far, some participants stated that cryptocurrencies are assets not currencies, however markets weren't impressed with the limited comments, with some analysts still expecting heavy-handed regulations to be announced by the end. 

Litecoin rose on Wednesday to $172.60 from the opening of $169.16, with an intraday high at $175.50, and a low at $168.00.
